Les Paul Top Carve - Router Template Set

We offer two approaches to aid in shaping the top of your Les Paul-style guitar. 

This template set will allow you to route each layer of your LP-style guitar, making it easier to remove the bulk of the wood before finishing by hand and/or with a sanding machine.

The 10 piece set comes with 6 top pieces for routing each layer in ~1.5mm steps, plus 4 smaller profile pieces for checking the shape as you carve. These smaller pieces help you achieve the correct shape from the center outwards to the rim.

Our second option is a layout template plus the small profile templates that is used to hand carve/shape the top.  It is a more cost-effective approach and hand shaping the top of your guitar is a very satisfying experience. You will find this option here.
