Flying V Bass Style Template
The Gibson Flying V Bass, with its 30.5″ scale, is described by Gibson as a “mean and meaty” instrument. If you're looking to build a Flying V Bass style guitar then it may be easier than you think. Making a guitar with this template set, based on the famous Gibson Flying V Bass, will certainly be a lot easier and deliver more accurate results. We've designed in a bolt-on neck making this version ideal for builders who are looking for a more straightforward project than the traditional set-neck version. If you want to go set-neck, then truncate the body on the given line and go for it.
(Pickups are based on EMG 35CS style)

These templates, like all our guitar templates, are made of 6mm clear acrylic, precision laser cut with router paths, etch lines, and keyholes for accurate measurements on your build.
You can purchase each template separately if you require it.
Note: The dimensions of templates on this site are often created for accuracy based on original models however this is not the case in some templates and therefore we do not guarantee these templates to work with original parts. We also chose to design elements to be compatible across multiple models which mean not all parts are exactly the same dimensions as the original guitar the templates were based on.
